Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before using Aladdyn.

Welcome to Aladdyn. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our AI genie platform and related services. By accessing or using Aladdyn, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
Acceptance of Terms
Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Aladdyn ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts to use our Service. By using Aladdyn, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Use of the Service
Permitted Use
Aladdyn grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms and our Acceptable Use Policy.
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to: (a) violate any applicable laws or regulations; (b) infringe upon intellectual property rights; (c) transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful materials; (d) attempt unauthorized access to our systems; (e) use the Service for illegal or fraudulent purposes; (f) reverse engineer or decompile the Service; (g) interfere with other users' enjoyment of the Service.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
User Content
You retain ownership of any content you upload or create through the Service, and of the conversations, leads and other data your genies collect. You grant us a license to host, store and process that content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use your content, your End Users' data, or data received from Google, Meta or Shopify to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
Connected Platforms
Your Authorization
When you connect a Google account (Gmail, Google Calendar), a Meta account (WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Facebook Page), a Shopify store, a Microsoft or IMAP mailbox, or LinkedIn, you authorize Aladdyn to access that account with the permissions shown on the platform's consent screen, and only to provide the features described in our Privacy Policy. You must own the account or be authorized by its owner to connect it. You can disconnect any account at any time in Aladdyn or from the platform itself.
Platform Terms You Must Follow
Your use of a connected platform through Aladdyn remains subject to that platform's own terms and policies, including the Meta Platform Terms, the WhatsApp Business Messaging and Commerce Policies, Instagram and Facebook community and messaging rules, the Google APIs Terms of Service, and the Shopify API License and Terms. In particular you must: obtain any opt-in the platform requires before messaging a person (for example WhatsApp opt-in and approved templates outside the customer-service window); not use Aladdyn to send spam, unsolicited bulk messages or bulk email; and not misrepresent who is sending a message.
Replies Sent on Your Behalf
Messages and emails the genie sends through a connected account are sent in your name. You choose whether replies are sent automatically or held for your approval, and you are responsible for the replies you approve or allow to be sent automatically and for the information you give the genie to answer from.
Platform Changes
Google, Meta, Shopify, Microsoft and LinkedIn may change, limit or withdraw their APIs or permissions at any time. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by a platform, and we may change or remove an integration to comply with a platform's requirements.
Data Processing
Roles
For personal data of the people who talk to your genie ("End Users"), including your website visitors, shoppers, and the people who message or email you, you are the controller and Aladdyn processes that data on your behalf and on your instructions, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for telling your End Users how their data is used, including that you use Aladdyn and AI to respond to them, and for having a lawful basis to process their data.
Our Commitments
We will process End User data only to provide the Service to you; keep it confidential; use only the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy; protect it with the security measures described there; help you respond to End User requests to access or delete their data; delete it when you delete it, delete your account, or when a platform such as Shopify or Meta sends us a valid deletion request; and notify you without undue delay of a security incident that affects it.
Shopify Merchants
If you connect a Shopify store, you agree that Aladdyn processes your store and customer data under these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which together form our data protection agreement with you. We process only the store data needed for the features you enable and act on Shopify's customer data request, customer redaction and shop redaction notices as described in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
Ownership
The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and other materials, is owned by Aladdyn and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.
Limited License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Aladdyn grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service for your internal business purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.
Trademarks
All trademarks, service marks, and trade names used in connection with the Service are the property of Aladdyn or their respective owners. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.
Payments and Billing
Subscription Fees
Access to the Service may require payment of subscription fees. Fees are shown in Indian Rupees (INR), or in the currency displayed at checkout, and are non-refundable unless required by law or as expressly stated in our refund policy.
Billing Cycle
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your selected plan. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
Payment Methods
Payments are processed by Razorpay. You agree to provide valid payment information and authorize us, through Razorpay, to charge your payment method for all fees incurred. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.
Refunds
We offer refunds in accordance with our refund policy. Refunds for annual subscriptions are prorated based on the remaining term. Contact support for refund requests.
Limitations of Liability
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the Service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
AI Accuracy
Our AI genies are designed to assist with business tasks, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. You are responsible for verifying and validating AI outputs for your use case.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALADDYN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Total Liability
Aladdyn's total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Aladdyn in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team or through your account settings, including the in-product “Account & data” page. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease immediately.
Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason we deem necessary.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, all rights and licenses granted to you will cease immediately. We may delete your account and content in accordance with our data retention and backup policies. Certain data may be retained for a limited period where required by law, for billing, fraud-prevention, or security purposes, including for WhatsApp Business and Instagram Business integrations.
Account Deletion & Connected Platforms
When you delete your Aladdyn account or we terminate it, we disconnect every connected account (Google, WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Facebook Page, Shopify, Microsoft, IMAP and LinkedIn), stop processing new messages and emails from them, and delete your genies, conversations, leads and stored access tokens as described in the "How to Delete Your Data" section of our Privacy Policy.
Additional Terms
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Aladdyn and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Service.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit. This does not affect your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Aladdyn operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Aladdyn regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without our prior written consent. Aladdyn may freely assign or transfer these Terms without restriction. Any attempted assignment in violation of this provision shall be null and void.
