AI Genie Data

Google User Data

When you connect your Google account to Aladdyn, we collect and process Google user data that you authorize through OAuth consent. This includes calendar information (when you enable Google Calendar integration) such as calendar events, availability, and meeting details. We collect this data solely to provide and improve our application's functionality, specifically to enable meeting scheduling through our chatbot interface. We do not collect, use, or share Google user data for any other purposes.

Meta/WhatsApp Business Data

When you connect your WhatsApp Business account to Aladdyn, we collect and process data through Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging API, Business Management API, and WhatsApp Business Management API. This includes message content, contact information, phone numbers, message delivery status, and conversation metadata. We collect this data solely to provide messaging functionality through our AI chatbot platform and to deliver messages on your behalf.

How We Use Your Information

Service Delivery

We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve our AI genie platform, process transactions, and deliver the features and functionality you request.

Communication

We may send you important updates about your account, service announcements, technical notices, and marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.

Analytics and Improvement

We analyze usage patterns to understand how our services are used, identify areas for improvement, and develop new features that benefit our users.

Security and Compliance

Google User Data Usage

We use Google user data exclusively to provide and improve our application's functionality. Specifically, we use Google Calendar data to enable meeting scheduling features through our chatbot, allowing users to book appointments via text conversation. We do NOT use Google user data for: targeted advertising, selling to data brokers, providing to information resellers, determining credit-worthiness, lending purposes, user advertisements, personalized advertisements, retargeted advertisements, interest-based advertisements, creating databases, or training AI models. All Google user data is used solely for providing or improving user-facing features of our application.

Google Calendar Integration

When you connect your Google Calendar to Aladdyn, we access your calendar data to check availability, create calendar events, and send meeting invitations. This functionality allows users to schedule meetings with you through our chatbot by simply sending a text message. We only access calendar data necessary for these scheduling functions and do not use this data for any other purpose. You can revoke calendar access at any time through your Google account settings or by disconnecting the integration in your Aladdyn account.

Meta/WhatsApp Business Data Usage

We use WhatsApp Business data exclusively to provide messaging functionality through our platform. This includes sending and receiving messages on your behalf, processing message content to generate AI-powered responses, and managing conversation flows. We use this data solely to deliver the messaging services you have requested and to improve the functionality of our chatbot platform. We do not use WhatsApp Business data for advertising, marketing to end users, or any purposes other than providing our messaging services.

Information Sharing

Service Providers

We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform, processing payments, providing customer support, or performing analytics. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.

Business Transfers

We do not transfer Google user data to third parties for advertising, data brokering, information reselling, credit assessment, lending, or any other purposes beyond providing or improving our application's functionality.

Meta/WhatsApp Business Data Sharing

We share WhatsApp Business data only with Meta (Facebook) as required to use their APIs and deliver messaging services. We do not share, transfer, or disclose WhatsApp Business data to third parties except as necessary to provide our messaging functionality or as required by law. We do not transfer this data to third parties for advertising, marketing, or any other purposes beyond providing our messaging services.

You can request deletion of your personal information and closure of your Aladdyn account at any time, subject to our need to retain certain data for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and security purposes or for ongoing service obligations. If you use WhatsApp Business or Instagram Business integrations with Aladdyn, you can delete your account from the in-product "Account & data" page or by contacting us as described in this policy.

Opt-Out Options

You can opt out of marketing communications, analytics tracking, and certain data processing activities through your account settings or by contacting us.

Data Retention and Deletion

Retention Periods

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Account Closure

When you close your account (for example, from the "Account & data" page inside the Aladdyn app), we will delete or anonymize your personal information within reasonable timeframes, except where we need to retain certain data for legal, regulatory, fraud-prevention, or security purposes.

Backup Systems

Deletion of data may take up to 90 days to complete across all backup systems and archives.

WhatsApp & Instagram Business Data

When you delete your Aladdyn account or request deletion, we disconnect your WhatsApp Business and Instagram Business integrations and stop processing new data from those channels. Conversation history and related logs linked to your user and genies are deleted or anonymized where technically possible, in line with Meta platform policies and our legal obligations.

Google User Data Retention

We retain Google user data (including calendar information) only for as long as necessary to provide our services. When you disconnect your Google Calendar integration or delete your account, we delete all stored Google user data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain data for legal, regulatory, or security purposes. You can request deletion of your Google user data at any time by disconnecting the integration or contacting us.

Data Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of your personal information, including Google user data and WhatsApp Business data, at any time by contacting us at privacy@aladdyn.io or through your account settings. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain data for legal, regulatory, fraud-prevention, or security purposes. When the data retention period expires for a given type of data, we will delete or destroy it securely.

Google Calendar Integration

What Data We Access

When you connect your Google Calendar to Aladdyn, we request access to view and manage your calendar events. This includes reading your calendar to check availability, creating new calendar events for scheduled meetings, and sending meeting invitations to attendees. We access only the calendar data necessary to provide meeting scheduling functionality through our chatbot.

How We Use Calendar Data

We use your Google Calendar data exclusively to enable meeting scheduling through our chatbot. When a user requests to book a meeting via text message, our system checks your calendar availability, creates a calendar event with the meeting details, and sends invitations to all attendees. We do not use calendar data for any other purpose, including advertising, analytics beyond service improvement, or sharing with third parties.

Data Protection

All Google Calendar data is transmitted using secure, encrypted connections. We store calendar access tokens securely and use industry-standard security measures to protect this information. Calendar data is only accessed when actively processing a meeting scheduling request through our chatbot.

Your Control

You maintain full control over your Google Calendar integration. You can disconnect the integration at any time through your Aladdyn account settings or by revoking access through your Google account. When you disconnect, we immediately stop accessing your calendar and delete all stored calendar-related data within 30 days.

Meta/WhatsApp Business Integration

What Data We Collect

When you connect your WhatsApp Business account to Aladdyn, we collect and process data through Meta's APIs (WhatsApp Business Messaging API, Business Management API, and WhatsApp Business Management API). This includes: message content sent and received, contact phone numbers, message delivery and read status, conversation metadata, and business account information. We collect this data solely to provide messaging functionality through our AI chatbot platform.

How We Use WhatsApp Data

We use WhatsApp Business data exclusively to provide messaging services through our platform. This includes: receiving incoming messages, processing message content to generate AI-powered responses, sending messages on your behalf, managing conversation flows, and tracking message delivery status. We use this data solely to deliver the messaging services you have requested and to improve the functionality of our chatbot platform.

Data Sharing with Meta

We share data with Meta (Facebook) as required to use their WhatsApp Business APIs. This includes message content, recipient information, and delivery status necessary to send and receive messages. Meta's use of this data is governed by their privacy policy and terms of service. We do not share WhatsApp Business data with any other third parties except as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.

Data Protection and Security

We implement security procedures to protect the confidentiality of WhatsApp Business data. This includes encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure storage of API credentials, access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel, and regular security audits. We do not use WhatsApp Business data for purposes other than providing messaging functionality.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain WhatsApp Business data (including message content and conversation history) for as long as necessary to provide our services and as required by applicable law. When you disconnect your WhatsApp Business integration or delete your account, we stop processing new data and delete or anonymize stored data within 90 days, except where retention is required for legal, regulatory, or security purposes. You can request deletion of your WhatsApp Business data at any time by contacting us.

Compliance with Meta Policies

Our use of WhatsApp Business data complies with Meta's policies and terms of service. We do not use WhatsApp Business data for advertising, marketing to end users, or any purposes other than providing messaging services. We maintain publicly available privacy policies as required by Meta and comply with all applicable data protection laws and regulations.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from your country. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your information is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy
